# Saulm's Rest Feywild is a loose cluster of wilderness with solitary states interlaced between them, run by archfey. Some small countries, some towns, some have no civilization and are difficult to discern. The town in which Thalan lived was rather small and in the style of wood elves, integrated into the forest. They are relatively recent refugees of those woods, having had to learn to adapt their ways of life to the feywild. The town is located in a wilderness area on the edge of an Archfey's domain, having expanded as far as they could without encroaching on its territory. There might be bigger Eladrin settlements out there, Thalan never really learned about them, how many of them there are or where they are. Eladrin, or at least the ones in this settlement, do not interact much with fey/archfey, considering them generally untrustworthy and dangerous to deal with.
