She also was incredibly sharp-witted and seemed to always know when I was hiding something, like she could read my mind. One such time was when she somehow figured out [[Brother - Kaelesil|Kel]] and I had been making clandestine trips to the blue glade. The [[blue glade]] is a small clearing neighbouring [[../Locations/Saulms rest|Saulm's rest]] that has a pond that reflects a night sky at all times of day. It was said to be the home of a beautiful naiad. And despite grandmother's warnings not to play in that area, we kept going there, hoping to spot the naiad. When Yaela found out she didn't tell on us, that was not her style. No, instead she decided to make a lesson out of it. The next day we went there, we were chased out by a group of angry pixies and barely made it out in one piece. We only found out much later, in the letter she left me, that this had been her doing. ## Fate Left with grandmother when the curse showed its first signs, never saw her again.
